Winter 2015-2016

Here we are - another year, another trip!!  We left on Tuesday the 20th as planned.  While we were able to avoid the snow, we weren't so lucky with the rain.  The morning was cloudy - until it was time to hook up and put in some water.  This had to be done in the rain - good thing that is a blue job!

As we headed west, we visited a friend in Pincher Creek.  It was wonderful to see her but so sad that we didn't get to see his smiling face as he had passed away last winter. 

We slowly headed south, and then west.  The border crossing was very quick and easy - always a pleasure.  The weather was pleasant - cloudy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon.  There was the occasional Halloween decoration.  
 
We travelled along the Columbia River Gorge in northern Oregon which was very pretty - if the weather was sunny the scenery would have been incredible.
